Advance tickets are now on sale for the Fridley High School fall production of “Guys and Dolls,” the Tony Award-winning musical which debuted on Broadway in 1950. The student actors and crew members will present their production five times, at 7:30 pm Nov. 13 and 14, and Nov. 19, 20 and 21. All performances will be given in the District Auditorium, which is located in Fridley High School, 6000 W. Moore Lake Drive. Tickets cost $9 for adults and $6 for students and seniors. The Mississippi Branch Library, at 410 Mississippi St. NE in Fridley, will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 10 and 11. Crews will replace leaking windows in the children’s and service desk areas of the library. The building will reopen with usual hours at 10 am on Thursday, Nov. 12. The Spring Lake Park, Blaine, Mounds View (SBM) Fire Department will host a one-hour, free CPR class tomorrow. The Take Heart Anoka County CPR class is available at 1 and 7 pm at Fire Station Three, 11920 Ulysses St. in Blaine. This class is for those who want to learn CPR, but do not need a credential.
